Learning a new language can get more difficult as you age. Even if adults are better at learning everything faster, a child has the ability to learn a new language faster and with better grammar. Why don’t teachers start teaching a new language when the kids are in kindergarten, first grade or second grade? Most students start learning a foreign language when they are in high school and by that time they are conscious about the pronunciation so they might have fear of participating and will learn less than other; while a child of the age 6 will have no fear of participating. Even if children attend to a school where a second language is not provided parents should get their child a tutor. Parents should really worry about their child learning a second language or even a third one because they have better chances of obtaining a job and if they ever feel like traveling the language might not be a problem.
Why is learning a second language so important? Well people get to an age where they have to start working and sometimes a better job is offered but they require a certain language. Of course it is never too late to learn a second language but the struggle will be harder. Besides work, some people would like to live in a different place in the world but since they only know one language they might not be able to find a job or communicate with the people that live there. Life is so much easier if you know more than one language, money might come faster and when it comes to a job, who wouldn’t want to hire someone who can work as two, three, four, or even five people just by knowing different languages.
